Okay so I got this great idea from my friend Lisa. I was showing her the card holders that I used in a scrapbook layout and had tons left over and she had just seen my extensive collection :-) of mini clear stamps, you know the $1.50 ones from Michaels...well she said "I bet you those would fit in there". I decided to give it a try today and was so excited to see that they fit and I had just enough sheets to hold all my stamps. I even put in my little Snag Em stamps from Imaginess. It is great, now I can see all my stamps and pick the perfect one for my project. Thanks Lisa!!!
Now for my first christmas card. I picked up this great striped acetate sheets at a LSS and ran it through the cuttlebug embossing folder, hard to see in this picure, I'll have to post another one some other time to show you the details. And well I had this Penny Black image stamped and waiting to be coloured. I just love it! The only saying I could think of to go with it was of course "HO, HO, HO!" I'm going to be using this card for my girlfriends from work. I think inside I'm going to stamp Merry Christmas Girlfriend!
Recipe:
Stamps: Penny Black
Paper: Whisper White, Green for Mat and Acetate
Others: Prismacolour Markers, Stampin' Up Glitter, "HO, HO, HO!" are premade words bought at Hobby Lobby last year.
Happy Stamping!
Sarah
