Greeting Farm Tags

I received my new Greeting Farm stamps last week - the Spooky Kit and the last batch of Super Secret Stamp Club - woohoo!!  They are so super cute, we inked them up and started colouring right away.  So then what to do with those coloured images.  I haven't made tags in such a long time so I decided to pull out the manilla shipping tags and Tim Holtz Distress Ink and get dirty - hehe.

Here are my tags and Copic colours used to colour the images - to see them up close and more details please check out my youtube channel.

I'm a Special Guest Designer...

for Not2Shabby on Zibbet!!  Yah me!!

Can you believe it - Jamie asked me to be a "Special" Guest Designer with the Twisted kit from The Greeting Farm.  Oh yah, super exciting.  And part of me being a Guest Designer means that you get a Coupon code for 10% off your purchase at Not2Shabby!  Your welcome =)

The Twisted kit is on sale right now for 5% off - $45.60 and with my coupon you get another 10% off that price.  And there are 16 stamps in the set so you are getting them for less than $3 a stamp - what a deal!  Each single image stamp stamps are $8 to $12 when purchased separately but these ones are not available separately.  I know, I'm an enabler =)

So, for my first project as a Guest Designer I have decorated these mini composition books that a dear friend gave me (thank you Irene!).  The little boy represents Jonathan and his love of camouflage, and the little girl represents Madison and her secret wish for dip-dyed hair.  Super cute!

They are so adorable!  I hope you enjoy them.  The paper used is from the DCWV Rock Star collection and the chipboard frames are from Recollections Vintage Collector.  The greetings are from the Twisted kit and white embossed on black card stock.

Here are the Copic colours used for each image.  I hope you head over to Not2Shabby and pick up this kit before they are all gone.

Not 2 Shabby July Challenge - Summer Theme

Hi Everyone!

Jamie over at Not 2 Shabby is having a July Challenge.  You need to create a card with an image and a summer theme.  Jamie has awesome stamps, dies and flowers in her zibbet shop here!

Here is my card that I created using one of the images from the Twisted Kit which you can buy in her shop right now =)

Here is a close up of Celeste.  I just love her dip dyed hair - so pretty.  I added some paper flowers from my stash that I layered and added rhinestones to the centre.  The saying is from a Some Odd Girl stamp set.

Greeting Farm Friday Challenge

Hi Everyone!

I saw this Fridays Farm Fresh Challenge and just had to play along.  The first thing that came to mind when seeing the colour palette was the Prima Madeline collection - perfect colours.  And the second thing that came to mind was my new Greeting Farm stamps!!  On friday I got some super happy mail and the Twisted kit was waiting for me to play with.  I'm so excited, there are some super cute images and awesome greetings to use.

Here is my finished card that I am entering into the challenge.  I just love how she turned out and the colours are a perfect match.  I gave her some ash blond hair and popped her up onto an embossed circle which is matted in black card stock.  I used the Hey Girlfriend! greeting and put it on a fish tailed banner.  Added in some blooms from Lavish Laces and some tiny Prima flowers from my stash and glittered everything up with some Stickles.  The little porcelain rose is from my crafty friend Cheryl - thanks Cheryl!!

The image was coloured with Copic (colours pictured below).  Hope you all head over to the Greeting Farm blog and join in on Farm Fresh Friday!

Christmas Card Catch Up

I want to start off right away and apologize for not posting sooner, this month has been absolutely crazy.  I feel like there has been no time for anything, between work and everyone in the family being sick with the flu.  It has not been fun.

Well I thought to make up for it I would show you some of the cards I have been working on.  The first one is this super cute Penny Black stamp that I got last year.  I coloured her up with my spectrum noir markers and added some white flocking and green chunky glitter.  One of my favorite cards this year!

The next one is just a basic 5.5 x 5.5 card with a Greeting Farm image that I've had for a while.  Coloured up with my spectrum noir markers and layered with some patterned papers and spellbinders.

The next one is a super cute house mouse stamp that has been in my stash for ages.  I did up a card base and put it through the cuttlebug for the tree embossing. The image itself was embossed with a handcut circle to get the embossing only in a circle around the image.

And this one is using a spellbinders for a cook-coo clock.  Really love how this one worked out.  I used glitter paper for the fringe and added some ink for distressing.

Lastly I have Santa and Frosty which were coloured with my spectrum noir markers and layered with patterned paper and spellbinders.
Hoping that everyone has a wonderful christmas as I probably will not be posting again before then.

Rainy Day

Well it's a bit of a rainy day here today so what better to do than to color.  With my new favorite markers.  All right, all right, I'll stop now.

Here's a Greeting Farm image that has been in my pre-stamped stash for a while.  I colored her up and decorated the card with some of my scraps.  Just had to share to try and add some sun shine to our rainy day.

I have to point out some things that I did and where the inspiration came from.

Well first off I love to color but sometimes I don't always stay in the lines, especially when blending the markers sometimes bleed outside of the lines.  So to take care of that I usually end up cutting the image out instead of leaving it on the paper it is stamped on.  Well I really like how Mariska over at Sending you a little smile:) layers her images but I definitely do not have the patience to color and cut all those layers so I decided what if I pop up my image and put it on time of a blacked out image.  Well voila - I love it!

Secondly, I really love how Linda Heavens glitters up everything!!  So I had to try that out too.

Well I really love how it worked out.  And will definitely be doing more.
