Release Day - October Digi's for LBBS!!

Today is release day for digi stamps at Little Blue Button Stamps.

I got to play with Happy Charlie - and she is very happy!!  She reminded me of school so I decided to make a mini album in a tin for school memories.  I used the Old School stack from DCWV and a CD tin from my Stampin Up! days.

I wanted to make her a little more "geeky" so I added some die cut glasses from impression obsession - so cute!!

Here is a quick look at the mini in on the inside, it is just a simple mini to keep it thin.  Take a look at my youtube channel for a look at the rest of the mini.

And head on over the the LBBS Blog to see all the new digi's released for October =)  And hop on over to the store to buy your own =)

Creative Wednesday - LBBS Digi DT

Welcome to Creative Wednesday with Little Blue Buttons Stamps!!!

Today I am playing with Miss Lilly Chef - she is super cute.  I decided to decorate a treat box with her using the Dear Lizzie Neapolitan paper collection.

Here is the tutorial to make the box from Bona at LiveLoveScrap - Here!

The treat box is a great way to gift anything as it is a really good size and it only takes two 12x2 pieces of paper to make - super fast and easy.  Once I put everything together I sprayed it all with Scintillating Silver from Lindy's Stamp Gang.

Head over to Little Blue Button stamps to get your own digi's and check out the blog for more Creative Wednesday projects from the other DT members.

Here are the Copic colours I used the colour in Miss Lilly Chef - so pretty!

Canvas Sign for Not2Shabby

So, today I was playing around with my only Magnolia stamp - Here I am Tilda.  She is super cute, I love the way she is peeking around the corner, so I decided to put her on a sign and have her peeking around a frame.

To get your own Magnolia stamps and more head over to Not2Shabby on Zibbet.

I used a canvas mini album page from Michaels $1.50 bin and put some texture past on with a Crafters Workshop stencil - Mini Specimens.  I then sprayed it with Lindy's Stamp Gang - Alpine Ice Rose and Milk Chocolate Brown.  The edges are inked with Vintage Photo Distress Ink.

I just love how it turned out - so pretty.  Check out my youtube channel for some close ups and further details on the items used.  Below are the Copics used to colour in Tilda.

Creative Wednesday - LBBS

Welcome to Creative Wednesday with Little Blue Button Stamps.

Today I got to play with Rocker Charlie who is so super cool.   I decided to make a card and of course I had to use stars with this super rock star!

I love how she turned out.  I found some black rhinestone Want 2 Scrap bling that was star shaped to go with the star spellbinders.  The patterned paper is from DCWV.

Head on over to LBBS and check out the other projects for Creative Wednesday and head over to my youTube channel for a video of this card.

Here are the copic colours that I used to colour Rocker Charlie - I also used a silver gel pen to accent her boots, guitar and earrings.

Playing Around with Distress Markers

I was playing around with my new stamps and decided to colour one with my Tim Holtz Distress Markers.  I used the image Oak Tree Girl from Whimsy Stamps, she is so adorable.

I did not keep track of the colours used as I was playing with them.  I recommend you make a chart to show what the colours look like with and without water as they can be totally different.

I finished off the card with some Prima bling, a die cut doily and some acrylic leaf gems.  The lilies are from Wild Orchid Crafts which I purchased at Not2Shabby.  And of course the fall leaves are some that I have been hoarding in my stash from Michaels.

I love how the card turned out and it is really helping me look forward to fall =)

Using your Halloween Stamps in Other Ways...

So, everyone knows that I love Halloween and I especially love Halloween stamps but I wanted to show you how you can use your Halloween stamps for projects that are not Halloween.

I decided to make a room sign for my son who then decided he wants to hang it on the craft room door.  So there are only monsters allowed in the craft room!!

I used some chipboard to make the sign and then cut out two pieces shaped like wood - all three pieces were covered with patterned paper from DCWV and inked with Vintage Photo distress ink.  I also used some brads that have screw heads on them and distressed them with black ink to bring out the design.  I used the four little monsters from the Greeting Farm Spooky Kit which you can get the Not2Shabby on Zibbet.

I just love how it turned out - very simple to make too =)
Here are the copic markers I used for each of the little monsters.
