SCS Card Sketch Challenge

Today was a full day. It started off with a major thunder and lightening storm (mommy!) and then I was out to the library with the kids to meet my new friend Lisa (Hey Lisa :-). It was really fun! So then home for lunch and entertaining the kids until dinner and soccer. I thought I'd never get a minute to myself.

I was trying to think of what card to make for today when I realized "Hey what about all these blogs and web sites I stalk daily, they have challenges!" So I decided to visit my favorite site Splitcoast and look at Wednesday's Challenge. Wednesdays challenge is a Card Sketch. Here's the sketch that was given to work with...

And here's what I came up with...

I got this really nice package of patterned cardstock paper from Costco (300 sheets of double sided paper!) and have been itching to use it. It's all very antique looking colours.

Hope you like it!

Recipe:
Stamps: Stampin' Up! Dreams du Jour
Paper: Stampin' Up! So Saffron and Memory Craft patterned paper
Others: Prima Flowers, Ribbon unknown, Charms Dollar Store

Happy Stamping!

  2. Yup, they are part of the Dreams du Jour set - it's one of the demonstrator pre-order sets from the new catty.

  3. Welcome to the Sisterhood. I know what you mean about customer base, I was an SU demo for 7 years! I also am a collector but I have started really using my stash and it's liberating. I am the admin for our group and I have a lot of fun ideas for all of us to use our stuff!!!

  4. What a great interpretation of the challenge with the butterflies and flowers! Challenges get your creative juices going don't they? I'm finding them a new and quite a growing experience!
    Have a fab day!
