Tea Party!!
Madison and I went to a fundraiser tea party for the London Insurance Professionals and if you wore a hat you received an extra draw ticket. That to me was a challenge - so out came the paper and up came the videos on youTube. You'll have to check out my video to see both our hats up close - I gave mine away to a cute little girl at the tea party ;-) And there is another finished altered tea box that I decorated that of course I forgot to take a picture of.
Here is pic of the both of us with our party hats on. They are so cute!!
And Madison was lucky enough to win this super cute owl teapot that looks awesome in my kitchen - lol!

Mod Podge Melts
I saw some video's on YouTube and decided to play around with my Mod Podge Melts. I had made them a while ago and just left them in a box because I really didn't know what to do with them. Well let me introduce you to my new favorite products - Black Gesso and Inka Gold Metallic Rub!!
Here's a close up of the finished embellishments. Some are painted with black gesso and the others are painted with acrylic paint - a mix of blue and green, to give a patina look to it. I absolutely love them.
I loved the how the owl turned out so much that I had to add it to my little Halloween sign. Perfect addition to my project.
Check out my VIDEO to see how to do these.

Altered Pocket Watch
I told you I love Halloween and I've already finished another project. I wanted to use another of my Saturated Canary images that I purchased - fly girl - and the original ones that I printed were pretty big so I decided to make a Halloween decoration for my house.
I picked this Want2Scrap chipboard pocket watch from the steampunk album kit. It's an old one that I've been hanging onto in my stash. I started off by covering it with some patterned paper and distressing the edges with Black Soot distress ink. I then mixed up some texture paste with glimmer mist to get a light lavender colour. I love the way this turned out. And used my new Crafters Workshop template - Aspen Trees.
Here is a close up before I did anything else too it - the trees are so cool and spooky at the same time. I also used my palette knife to soften the edges and spread some texture paste around the whole project. After it had dried I sprayed some orange glimmer mist and splattered black, orange and purple all over.
She is so super cute. Just had to finish it off with some flowers and leaves from I am Roses and a little bit of bling.

A Spooky Card Share
I haven't forgotten about my blog. I know, I just like to take breaks - actually it's all YouTube's fault. It's just to addictive and I spend all my time over there, watching and uploading videos. Well I'll try and spend some more time over here too and what better time to start then gearing up for Halloween.
I've been inspired recently from Bona at LiveLoveScrap with all of her beautiful projects and she's been using quite a lot of Saturated Canary digi images, so guess what, I went shopping! But this shopping was fun, I didn't have to pay any shipping costs and it was instant gratification because you get your images right away to play with. I play around with the size, print of the image and voila - it's time to colour.
I was going through my stamps and realized I didn't have many Halloween stamps - I probably do and just can't find them right now - so I picked out a couple of images. Here is the first one that I coloured - Rollerskating Zombie. I love how she turned out.
I created a circle easel card with my mini8 punch - love it. Added a ton of layers and used some of my Halloween spellbinders. When I was all done putting everything together I added some glimmer mist of the whole project (really love the effect on the black cardstock) and splattered a little bit of black chalkboard spray.
