Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop

Here is my first project for the Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop.  

The DT from the Not2Shabby Shop are playing along and Not2Shabby Shop is also participating as a super sponsor.

Now to get on with my project.

I had to make a special card for my boss from the whole team and since our gift was coffee themed then this was the perfect opportunity to use some of my coffee stamps.  I decided to use the new Coffee Hedgehog from Gerda Steiner Designs and paired with it the Hedgehog with Sign.  These two are so cute.  My design was to stack them like a Christmas tree and use their signs to send our message.

I have to say that they worked out perfectly and the only masking I needed to do was for the coffee cup on the top hedgehog.

To colour my image I used Derwent Inktense pencils which I received as a birthday present this year, I am still new to them and working out how they work and what I can do with them but I have to say I am very happy with them.  The colours and very bright and Intense (hence the name).

A Christmas Card with New Stamps

For this weeks DT Project at Not2Shabby I made this super gorgeous Christmas card with one of my new Stamping Bella's.  Savannah has a Star.  I absolutely love the way it turned out, she is just awesome!

Card for National Card Making Day!

I almost forgot that today is National Card Making Day so of course I had to make a card.  I coloured up this super sweet image from Saturated Canary - Crisscross Applesauce!

Canvas Sign for Not2Shabby

So, today I was playing around with my only Magnolia stamp - Here I am Tilda.  She is super cute, I love the way she is peeking around the corner, so I decided to put her on a sign and have her peeking around a frame.

I used a canvas mini album page from Michaels $1.50 bin and put some texture past on with a Crafters Workshop stencil - Mini Specimens.  I then sprayed it with Lindy's Stamp Gang - Alpine Ice Rose and Milk Chocolate Brown.  The edges are inked with Vintage Photo Distress Ink.

Playing with the Greeting Farm

Hidden Surprise Card!

I was playing with the Twisted Kit from the Greeting Farm - again =) and came up with this super easy hidden surprise card.  When you pull the first tier of the cake you find Celeste - so super cute!!

It is a nice clean and simple card, I decorated with some old large sequin flowers that I found while I was cleaning up my craft room.  And the little metal tag and flower eyelets that came from the Eyelet Outlet.

Twisted Kit Cards

Here is my 2nd project for Not2Shabby on Zibbet using the Greeting Farms Twisted Kit.  These guys are so super cute and I just wanted to do some boy birthday cards.  After doing so much girly stuff it is hard to figure out what to do.  I had to ask Jonathan if it was okay to add sequins to the boy cards - lol.

Not 2 Shabby July Challenge - Summer Theme

Hi Everyone!

Jamie over at Not 2 Shabby is having a July Challenge.  You need to create a card with an image and a summer theme.  Jamie has awesome stamps, dies and flowers in her zibbet shop here!

Here is my card that I created using one of the images from the Twisted Kit which you can buy in her shop right now =)

Here is a close up of Celeste.  I just love her dip dyed hair - so pretty.  I added some paper flowers from my stash that I layered and added rhinestones to the centre.  The saying is from a Some Odd Girl stamp set.
